A Few Dresden Plate Quilts

I have a small collection of quilts from both my grandmothers, White and Fisher Hedrick, as well as great aunts who were sisters of Mamaw White.  Here are a couple of Dresden Plate quilts, pieced, appliqued and quilted by hand, B.C. (Before Curve Master).

And here are some totally pieced Dresden Plates, made with NO APPLIQUE, using the Curve Master to insert each “blade” into a background piece cut to match the “blade” curve, and even the very center circle is sewn in, not appliqued on.  And, each block can be completed in about 20 minutes, once you get the system going!  Amazing!
