Two really big shows this weekend (February 26-29), and we have representation at both. We’d love to meet you if you have a chance to come by.
The Mancuso Mid-Atlantic Quilt Fest is in cold, windy Hampton, Virginia. Tonight on the James River there were whitecaps, waves breaking on the shore, and spray dousing us in the parking lot as we left dinner at The Crab Shack. I thought I was back in California! (Well, not really, but it was very ocean-like!) Quite a change from the pleasant weather in Tampa last weekend. Today I taught a full class for Drunkard’s Path and tomorrow I teach another full class of Dresden Plate with No Applique. Photos to follow. Come see us in Booth 313!
The Sewing Expo this weekend at the Washington State Fairgrounds, Puyallup, WA has a large variety of vendors of not-just-quilt-stuff but also garment, home decor, and fabric art tools, machines, fabrics and classes. We are a guest in the booth of the Treadleart folks, that great book vendor! Remember an earlier post, “A Quilter Is Born?” Miss Heather, the subject of that post, is our demonstrator this weekend, so be sure say hello to her.
